Professional Certificate in Grant Writing

TheĀ Certificate in Grant Writing is a 12-session interactive and practical program designed for those who seek to acquire the knowledge and practice the skills necessary to succeed in today’s competitive grant writing environment. This program is specifically designed for those who have little or no experience in grant writing.
Over the course of 12 weeks (36 hours), participants will learn best practices for developing successful grant proposals, taking part in hands-on exercises in the development of agency and program budgets and grant narratives.

This program includes tips on how to:

  • Identify and analyze funding resources for programs and programs
  • Approach funding sources well in advance,
  • Be ready once the deadline is looming
  • And what to do once you’ve been awarded a grant.

In addition, you will receive individualized feedback from local grant professionals on the grant proposal materials you produce over the course of the class.
Participants must complete all assignments and attend all 12 sessions of this program to earn the Certificate. If a student must miss 1 session, excluding the first session, they may make up that session when the program is next offered. Missing the first session or any 2 sessions disqualifies a student from earning the Certificate.
